Stuart brings 17 year of experience within lighting design. His project cross a wide range of sectors, with specialisms and interests which span beyond the conventional boundaries of lighting design.

He has won multiple awards in public realm, landscape and exterior lighting, as well as in museums, galleries and visitor experiences. Stuart has seen many projects from masterplan stage through to on-site delivery, with a thorough understanding of the technical requirements needed to complete projects to the highest standard.

A lifelong passion for astronomy informs a keen commitment to Dark Sky thinking, actively reducing light pollution and designing to benefit ecology.

Stuart has founded TLWS to be able to offer dedicated support to projects for the highest level of lighting design, bringing creativity, a high level of communication across all aspects of the project and dedication to the craft of lighting design through his experience and knowledge.
